Sugar

Raw and refined, origin to destination

Overview

Sugar is one of the world's most widely consumed commodities, with global trade exceeding 60 million metric tonnes annually. Cymba Aurea Trading sources both raw and refined sugar from leading tropical producers, offering supply to food manufacturers, industrial buyers, and trading counterparties worldwide.

Sugar prices are benchmarked on ICE (New York) for raw sugar (No. 11 contract) and London (No. 5 contract) for white/refined sugar. Brazil dominates global exports, accounting for approximately 40–50% of world trade, with India, Thailand, and Australia as significant secondary exporters.
